Location: Bogie No: S7, Lumding Railway Station, Assam, India
Time: 0600hrs
......As the bogies of Kamrup Exp. bound for Howrah slowly left platform no.2 of Lumding station, I noticed a tiny droplet of tear trickle down Dad's eyes, something which I have never seen happen for the past 20 yrs of my life...he was standing on the platform waving to his son on S7 bogie as it jostled away and kept on waving as long as his vision allowed him to....But now he was all smiles again 'coz he knew he was sending his son far away 4rm home to make him a successful n better person in future..but as 4 his son, only God knows what would become of him... I guess when u turn 21 u kinda deserve these EMOTIONAL ATTYACHARS... Love u Dad!

ReplyDeleteUr dad must also b remembering that day very well and when u returned back after 4 yrs,he must have thanked God,for,the tiny droplet of tear was worth it coz u have fulfilled his dream to a great extent:)
